An Italian Thanksgiving and What to do with the leftover turky...
Published: Thu, 11/24/11
Hello ,
Albert, here.
I wanted to take a moment to wish you the very best Thanksgiving. Enjoy your day with friends and family.
Be grateful and thankful. Be safe. Smile and laugh.
I have so many things to be thankful for. My family, my friends, my life.
I am grateful to be able to share the planet with you.
My friend Elliot sent me an email that really hit home for me.
It was called an Italian Thanksgiving. It reminded me so much of my growing up. I was very lucky to have been part of an Italian-American household.
And you know, there is a little bit of Italian in all of us....
I can still see my grandfather Antonio, taking great pride in carving the turkey. Here he was a man who arrived in America at 17, not being able to speak any English, was now a success, surrounded by a loving family.
And the food...there was turkey..but so much more. Much much more!
I posted the email for you to enjoy.

The pictures really made me smile. You really need to check it out!
And if you are wondering what to do with the leftovers... Wonder no more.
You can easily make Turkey Pizza. It's easy...
The recipe is on my Cooking Therapy Blog.

Be safe. Be well. And may God Bless you and your family.
