A number of year's ago. I received a phone call that changed my pizza life.

The caller on the other end identified himself  explaining he was writing a book about pizza. He said this was an unusual book in that it would not only contain recipes but also document his search for incredible piza.

The caller said he had discovered Pizza Therapy  and wanted to interview me for his book. I said of course.

The caller was Peter Reinhart and the book he was writing was American Pie My Search for the Perfect Pizza. While my interview never made it into the book, he did mention my name and Pizza Therapy.  

That one conversation changed me and my pizza journey forever. Through Peter I was able to meet some of the pizza movers and shakers in and out of the pizza industry. I am forever indebted to Peter for sharing the magic of pizza with me.

In a recent interview with Paulie Gee, a noted New York Pizza Maker, he explained that American Pie My Search for the Perfect Pizza was his inspiration for starting a pizza business.

Now you can get a copy of Pete's book for a fraction of the price. It is for the Kindle, but you don't need a Kindle to read it.
