Pizza Greetings! I hope everything is going well in 2017! My own pizza adventures continue...there is always something to learn and try.
One of the questions I get asked repeatedly is: what is your favorite pizza sauce recipe? How do you make the perfect pizza sauce.
And the answer is: (Drum roll, please...)
I don't use pizza sauce. I just use high quality stewed
tomatoes. I will just put them in a food processor for a few seconds or crush them with my hands. My friend Domenico Crolla of Bella Napoli, in Glasgow, Scotland explains that crushing the tomatoes by hand is best.
That is what my Dad did when he made pizza for us. (Actually he used a fork...but close enough).
