Greetings!
I am literally heading out the
door in a few minutes.
To say I am excited is certainly an understatement. I get the opportunity to hang out with all of my pizza heroes. Tony Gemiganai (Pizza rock), Peter Reinhart (Master Bread Baker), John Arena (Metro Pizza), Jonathan Goldsmith (Spacca Napoli), Pete LaChapelle (the Big Kahuna of Pizza Expo), Scott Wiener, (Scott's Pizza Tours), Domenico Crolla (Bella Napoli in Scotland), Jeff Smonkevich (Detroit Pizza Master in Colorado), Andris (Baking
Steel), Ajith Dharma (Firewithin), Tim Cole (Forno Bravo), my friend Gail, to name a few.
I know I will be seeing many other old friends and create new ones...Oh wow!
I'm also seeing my friend Gabe who I have not spent time with for 20 years...yeah we go way back.
I will be sharing my pizza tales and adventures in the upcoming months. So stay tuned!
Sadly one of my favorite pizza masters will not
be able to make it, Billy
Manzo of Federal Hill Pizza, located in Providence, Rhode Island just opened his new Pizzeria and needs
to make pizzas. If you are anywhere on the East Coast I urge you to stop in.

Here is a quick tip: make sure you preheat your oven at lease 45 minutes to an hour
before you put your
pizza in. This is especially true if you are using a pizza stone.
I do want to hope all of your pizza adventures continue to go
