Happy Summer to you. I hope everything is going well and you are following your pizza dreams.
I just got back to Hawaii from an East Coast trip that was fun, enjoyable, and a time to spend with friends and family. And of course I ate a lot of pizza.
One of my most enjoyable experiences was going to Brooklyn and having pizza at Di Fara's. The master of the pizza there is Dom DeMarco.
If you do go, expect to wait in line. Lines form early so my advice is to go before they open.
Dom creates each pizza by hand and places the pizza directly in the oven using a peel. He uses his hands to move the pizzas around in the hot oven. After the pizza comes out, he tops each pizza with fresh basil.

The pizza was in a word: incredible. The crust was thin and all the flavors blended together well.
