Hello Pizza Friend. I hope all of your pizza adventures are going well. I have a couple of things I wanted to share with you.

 

First, yesterday on Doctor Oz my friends, Scott Wiener and Nino Coniglio teamed up with Doctor Oz to discuss pizza. The subject was "How Do Fast-Food Pizza Chains Make Their Pies So Cheap?" This was a great pizza episode. You can also discover the best way to re-heat pizza. (Never a microwave, just use a hot pan and cover!)

An upcoming episode of Chopped called "Pizza Poetry" is airing tonight on 

Food Network featuring John Arena of Metro Pizza, Nino Coniglio of Williamsburg Pizza, Vincent Rotolo of Good Pie, and Giolio Adriani of The Local Pizzaiolo.

Now that I think about it, I have interviewed each of these pizza super stars mentioned in this email on my YouTube Channel.  Sometimes I surprise myself!

 

 

Finally, I wanted to share a video I shot at Pizza Expo featuring Master Pizzaiolo Roberto Caporuscio.

I'll include a link below. You can see how he easily shapes the dough and simply creates a Neapolitan Pizza.
